Jungle Fender Flares is a growing company and we offer products for a limited number of truck models. So when we consider developing a new model, we want to make sure its what people want. We generally try to stay away from really common models that many fender flare manufacturers are already selling.
In the interest of creating new models in the future, we always like to hear what people are looking for in fender flares. Please reply below this post with as much as the following information as you can give us.
-How much tire coverage are you looking for (how much they stick out from the fender)?
-How much fender would you like to cover, height (applicable for styling but also for hiding rust)?
-What style of fender flares are you looking for, street, offroad, cut-out, etc?
-Do you prefer pocket style flares with the fake or real screw heads on the face of the flares, or regular where the screws are hidden in the wheel well?
-Do you think that the extra expense of pocket style fender flares is good value and would you be willing to pay more money for this more rugged look?
-If other companies already offer this model, please tell us why you are not interested in that product? Are they simply too expensive, big, small, ugly or do the products lack quality or customer service?
-Lastly and most importantly, what model and year truck do you need them to fit?
This information might help us later in developing a new model of Jungle Fender Flares that are exactly what you need. Thank you for your interest in Jungle Fender Flares. I look forward to reading your responses.

1 vote for larger fender flares for the 2002+ Dodge Ram, maybe 3 inch tire coverage? Apparently nobody makes really wide flares for this generation Dodge Ram and pocket style or regular would be fine as long as they stick out more than others available such as Bushwackers.
We are considering the tooling for some pocket style Landcruiser FJ80, Hj80 (80 Series) fender flares. They are similar to the stock size buy are pocket style. Are many people interested in Lancruiser wheel arch extensions?
I, and I know others would love to see a set of flares for the s10 crew cab series. There was one brand “skids”, but they are no longer produced. Check over at s-10crewcab.net and look at how many folks are asking for flares. The crew cab rear is different than the stock s-10. The “skids” flares plus a body lift and tb crank will allow you to run 33′s. Please we need these flares!
Thank you very much for your input about these fender flares that you can not find for your Chev S10 crew cab truck. We will certainly look into the demand for this model and consider setting up tooling. Please feel free to let us know the specifics about your needs especially about how much extra tire coverage you are looking for. Also, what range of years are you looking for them to fit? Would you happen to have a link to any information about the “Skids” brand fender flares? I can’t seem to find anything at all about them. If you know others looking for fender flares, please encourage them to post on here as well. Thanks again!
I would love to see these flares on an 05+ tacoma. There is a slight difference in the bed molding of a double cab short bed vs. the rest. BW offers them, but they do not cover enough tire and have the ugly bolt heads. I think that around 1.5-2″ coverage over the stock flares offer would be good to cover the 285s most run and most of my 315s. There is only one other company making flares for us and they are overpriced and dont provide much coverage. I believe if they turn out great, there would be a demand for these. Also, the thinner they are cupping under the fender the better. Less change of busting them off.
So how much total “Tire coverage” are you looking for in these Tacoma flares? In other words, how much do you want them to stick from the fender? I know you said about 1.5 – 2 inches past the stock flares but I don’t know how much they stick out. Thanks again for your information!
Anybody need fender flares for the 1999-2006 Chev or GMC 1500, Sierra, Silverado? We are considering setting these up with around 2 inches of extra tire coverage, menaing that they would stick out about 2 inches from the fender. Let me know what you think about this, and if people are looking for a larger flare, or anything more specific.
I’d say 2″ total would probably be a good size for the 05+ tacoma flares. the stocks are pretty thin.
nix that last comment….2.5″ total would be good. I looked and the bushwacker flares are 1.75″ and dont cover enough
I own an older model Ford F-series pickup truck, 1987 thru 1991. With that said, you can imagine the rust that is exibited around the fender wells, both front & back. I know Bushwacker offers there well known “cut-outs” available for these trucks, however, the price is somewhat rediculous and are a little over kill for a guy like me that wishes to cut out just the the parimeter of the wheel opening, say about an inch, to get rid of the rust and at the same time make room for larger tires. I would be looking for a fender flare system that necessitates the need to trim the wheel wells in a minimal way, yet has at least 3″ to 4″ of flare extending from the truck for WIDER TIRES that may not necessarily be tall. – please make these for me at the prices you offer on eBay and I’ll be you’re first customer.
+1
Wanting fender flares for Toyota Tacoma 2009 DC, Long Bed. Want them 2″ wider than the stock ones.
Please let us know how many inches of extra coverage you need from the stock fender. Thanks
Another vote for 05+ Tacomas! While the BW flares claim 1.75 more coverage, that is for a truck that does not come with the stock flares. Pre-runner and 4X4 have 1-1.25 flares already so the BW only adds a minimal amount of additional coverage. Some good 3+” flares would sell like hotcakes!
I agree with the 05+ Tacoma model. I would like the option of color coded paint options also. As for the flare amount I think the BushWacker modle with the 1.75″ is the best for commercial acceptance. You will sell less of you make the flares too wide, and not everyone wants full tuck with 285′s.
Another vote for 05+ Tacoma’s!
I hope I’m allowed to post this here… I want something very close to this to allow fender trimming and width for 35′s

I guess that’d be somewhere around 2.5-3″……
Yes, it sounds like 2.5 inches coverage from the stock fender will work for most people. We won’t be doing a cut-out fender flare though. The number of models we can make is limited and the direct fit models seem to be more in demand than cut-out. Keep watching for updates in the next few months for these large 2005+ Toyota Tacoma fender flares.
Over here (Australia) we have the Toyota Hilux everyone on the local forum is looking for a wider flare than stock as you guys with your Tacomas 2005+. I too agree a 2.5 inch would be perfect and with no big holes. There are some wide ones available out of Taiwan but they are externally bolted which looks pretty crap. So don’t dilly dally get a move on where all waiting. I agree the arctic trucks look great with the cut out flares but wouldn’t be very practical off road.
I am in favor of 2.5″ – 3″ flares for the 05-10 Tacoma 4×4 including double cab. Like others I have read in other Toyota forums, there is a demand for 1979-83 ” old school” aggressive look. BW pocket flares look like an after thought. If you make them along the lines of your 95-04 4×4 flares, which have that clean factory look and what a Tacoma 4×4 should look like.
Thats interesting that you mention the 79-83 Toyota truck fender flares. Do you remember where you saw those in demand? I believe that I may be able to come up with something for that generation. If anyone is interested or can point me in the direction of where the interest is for this model, I may be able to offer a solution. Thanks for all the input guys!
+1 for 2005+ Toyota Tacoma .
admin posts: Keep watching for updates in the next few months for these large 2005+ Toyota Tacoma fender flares.
And we keep checking. Hope you let TW know when these are out. Wish I could subscribe somewhere and get notified when we can check them out.
I will definitely be letting TacomaWorld know when we finally get these 2005+ Tacoma fender flares finished. Sorry for the delay but we haven’t had a chance to get too far on them yet!
I’m looking for pocket style fender flares for my 99 f-150 stepside , I’ve been told that you guys can make it happen. There is no company out there that makes them , I would even consider using the one on your web site , this is the missing link to my 99 raptor !!!!
I have an 81 AMC Eagle SX/4 that I am looking to modify for offroad use. There are many people with AMC Eagles that might be interested in buying flares that would accomodate a larger, wider wheel and tire package on their cars with a little trimming. The car has a slightly exaggerated curve from top to bottom that runs lengthwise. All Eagles have the same basic shape and use the same flares from 81-88. If you made the flares based off the 4 door sedan or wagon, they could be used on any of the 2 door models as well, as long as the rear flares didn’t have a strange upper forward edge where it would stop along the door opening… Is there any way that you might be interested in building some flares for these cars? I know there would be a market for them. I am trying to work with a couple of suspension companies trying to figure out a decent suspension lift for the front of them. My basic thought is to make some kind of flare that would replace the factory flare but would have a larger opening and would be an inch or two wider for more tire clearance. It would give a much more aggressive look to it and keep mud off the car and maintain it as road legal for tire coverage. Even if they sold for as much as $400 for the set, I think you could sell them fairly easily… Please email me back or feel free to call me if you have any comments or questions. Thank you
i would really like to see a set for the 2009-2011 Dodge Ram 1500. There should be about 2″ or so coverage. Right now there are VERY limited options for Fender Flares, and the prices are exorbitant. I personally prefer to support smaller companies, especially Canadian ones, living in Manitoba. i do know that there are alot of people in the various Dodge Ram forums that i frequent that are constantly looking for fender flares for these years and are really unhappy with only having 1 or 2 options, both with very high prices, even worse for us Canadians.
I would be intrested in dodge dakota cub cab 2005
I’m looking for pocket style fender flares for my 2007 F-150 Flareside , I thought that you guys could make them. Could you let me know?
seems to be alot of intrest in the ford f150 fenders flare, please consider making more ,would love to have set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
POCKET/ BOLT ON flares for 94-01 RAMS!!!! would buy them asap or even use truck to advertise the new style!!
Well my bias would be for the 2002+ Dodge Rams, long box and short box. But pretty much for all light duty diesel trucks. There are tons of us diesel enthusiasts in Alberta and we need fender flares, especially those of us working in the oil patch, forestry, mining etc!
definitely need them for the 2004 F150, new body style.
I am looking for what appears to be the hard to get
FENDER FLARES for 2005 F 150 FLARE SIDE pickup truck.
Anybody know where a guy could get a set of these ?
would love to see cut-out style flares with 4-5 inches of tire coverage for the 1997-2004 dodge dakota. alot of us are doing real big lifts and currently no one makes a fender flare larger than the xenons. bushwacker states it can’t be done cause theres not enough metal behind the front tires but most of us are moving the actual axles forward a few inches so there is metal infront that can be cut-out. I know this would be a good sell for the company that wanted to create them and would be the first to help with design ideas !
Hi There
We need bigger arches for the Hilux Mk6
more space at the front wing tip and wider overhang
Hi, looking for fender flares for 1997 Ford F150 flareside extended cab. Sounds like they are discontinued? Thanks
yeah still looking for liberty flares. I think they are going to become the next family offroader since the XJ cherokee. the dificult part about these flares is the factory fender is a plastic flare that attaches to the main body and inner fender below the hood line, making the front fenders/flare wider in front of the tire than behind the tire. the rear flare/fender should be pretty straight. as for extra coverage, I think 2′ past stock in the rear would be perfect then match up the front(tapered). factory mounting holes used would be nice as most 05′ aren’t rusty yet. curently waiting for 05′ flares. how soon can you get them?
hi i am also looking for some wider flares for my hilux mk6 double cab about 3″ or 4″ wider like the ones in Artic Trucks At 35.. Curleykev did you manage to find some ………………………..
thanks
Daryl
G’Day Blake,
Much of what I’ve seen are on the arctic trucks re; Land Rover Defender. When people say arctic they think really extreme and they’d be right however, a google search reveals some that are only 50mm more than standard flares, pretty much like your Toyota variants. Flatdog in the UK are a good example that are cheep enough but are plastic. As you know fiberglass is repairable and in my opinion, has the finish for current vehicle shapes. The Defender panels haven’t changed for 20+ years so there’s many opportunities to sell a quality flare. Please consider, Cheers…… Rodd
I am in desperate need of fender flares for my Mitsubishi Pajero. I have 10″ x 15″ rims and 33″ tyres on mine, and need to cover those. My model is 2001, but they were the same from 2000 to 2007. I can find flares for Generation 1 and 2, but not for 3.
I want a set for my F-150, so selfishly that would mean please make more for the 97-03 F-150′s. I like the wider fender coverage look of the design you have for these already. A little more tire coverage would probably be nice. I think a lower price alternative to BW’s in general is a good thing.
Toyota Land Cruiser FJ and Fzj80 flares. 2.5-3″ Go to ih8mud.com
Post there. Guys will go crazy over a option for their cruisers. There just isn’t anything out there.
Toyota Pickup 79-83 there is great need! Must cover 35-12.5 tires and up to 38×15.5 inches. 6-8 inch wide cut out with hidden screw. Buschwaker did make ? cut out`s but they are out of production ..
I have a 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80 I was thinking about Bushwacker’s Pocket style or Cut- out style. It would be cool to create your own style that would give the land cruiser the attitude it deserves as an expedition/off-road vehicle. Since I have owned this land cruiser I have only had respect for it and the engineering that went into it. so if you could incorporate that I would buy some. It would also be nice to make the opening a little bigger so one could increase tire size with out as much lift since it has one ton axles on it. it has the ability to run a very large tire without causing issues. I would like if you did that, it would you would not have to do little to none cutting since I have done that in the pass and only causes more problems if it is your daily driver.
thanks much Jake
P.S. Please keep me informed so I can buy them when you get them made or even just the Idea.
Reason I found this website was I was directed here because you at one time made fender flares for 2004 Ford F150 Flareside. They are hard to find and finding some that does carry them they are out so hope that means there is a demand for them. Keep them reasonable price too few that I found compared to others that do carry them they are expensive.
Thanks
I need a set of wide arches for a 1986 ford f250 4×4 truck please. The bigger the better. Can pay by VISA DEBIT. I look forward to your reply. Thanks Dave.
I have a Toyota Land Cruiser Fj80 that I am finding it impossible to find aftermarket fender flares for . Something more aggressive than stock with out being over kill !
