89-95 Toyota Pick Up Fender Flares aka mk3 Hilux Fender Flares

We now have fender flares back in stock for the 89-95 Toyota Pick Up 4×4, also known as the 89-97 Toyota Hilux MK3. These are made from ABS, (and also known as ‘wheel arch extensions) and still look the same as the previous fender flares we offered for this Toyota. The only difference is that these have been upgraded with an automotive grade glossy black paint that looks awesome! Better yet, the full set of 4 fender flares, trim and hardware will still be only $250! That is a great deal especially considering that these already come with a professional paint job.

    Hi.

Is it possible to see pictures of the innside/backside of the flares somewhere?

Reason i’m asking is that I bought a set of flares (different brand) from another place, and the plastic top (contact surface against the fender) was so damn thin that it wouldn’t stick good enough no matter what kind of glue/tec7/etc I used.

What I’m trying to say, is that i’m looking for some info on installation (pictures), to see if the mounted product will be durable enough for my needs.

Hope to hear from you guys, cuz thoose flares look sweet!

    regards,
    Alex

    Hello Alex,

Thank you for contacting Jungle Fender Flares. Just about all fender flares are too thin to be able to effectively glue the top edge of the flare to the fender. You first need to push the fender flares firmly in place with the underside lip of the flare far enough inside the wheel well opening before mounting them. That should push the top edge of the flare tight against the fender. Due to the structural design of fender flares, there should be no need for gluing them in this area. It may be possible that you need to elongate the holes in the underside lip of the flare, to allow you to be able to push the flare in more making the top edge tighter to the fender. Thank you for your interest in our Toyota Pick Up fender flares. Please let me know if you still have more questions.

    Sincerely,
    Blake

Hi again, and thanks for your reply.

I see now that I maybe should have tried a little bit better with my first flares,
but I like the look of the jungle fender flares better anyway :)

    Just one last question:
I’m a bit confused about which one of the hilux flares you have available.

    Is it this:
    http://www.junglefenderflares.com/p7hg_img_1/fullsize/1993-toyota-pickup_fs.jpg

    Or this:
    http://www.junglefenderflares.com/p7hg_img_1/fullsize/custom-toyota-pick-up_fs.jpg

Because it’s the ones in the last picture I wan’t to buy. Are they available?

  10. admin says:

To be honest, a customer that bought flares from me sent me photos of his truck, and the picture of that second “custom pick Up”. His friend had just bought the truck and they were under the impression that they are jungle fender flares already on it, painted of course. If they are, than they should be the very same as the first photo that you sent me. But just to be clear, the pick up fender flares we are selling definitely look like the first link that you sent me and the second link is not totally confirmed as they bought the truck with them already installed.

  11. Alex says:

OK, I see.. But just to clarify, are the ones in this picture available:
    http://www.junglefenderflares.com/catalog/89-97-toyota-hilux-fender-flares-p-32.html

  12. admin says:

The flares that we currently have available are the same as the black fender flares pictured above, or on all the Toyota Pick Ups in the gallery with the possible exception of that one custom Pick Up 4×4. Thanks again.

  13. Ben says:

Hi, I have a trayback Hilux (89- mk3) Can you sell me just the front two flares? Thanks

  14. admin says:

We only sell full sets of fender flares, not front or rear pairs. However; the price of our full set of fender flares is usually comparable to the price of a pair from one of our competitors. So you would be best to but one of our sets, and then just resell the rear flares yourself locally. If you really just want the 2 front fender flares, the shipping will of course be cheaper so I could give you a $25 discount off the total price. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

  15. Hank says:

I have a 1995 Toyota T100, could you sell 2 left rear fender flares with the set instead of a right and left rear? Whats the best way to find a set of fender flares for the T100 because I know you have to modify them to fit.

  16. admin says:

Yes we could provide you with a set including 2 rear lefts instead of a right and left for your T100 as described here; http://www.junglefenderflares.com/news/4×4-talk/toyota-t100-toyota-pick-up-fender-flares/

Please Contact Us to request an invoice and state that these fender flares are for the T100 so you get this special set.

  17. Ariel says:

I Have a 4WD 1992 Toyota Pick Up. I am looking for set of black plastic (not painted) fender flares. Are your sets black plastic? Anoher questions is: my truck has a factory installed plastic trim panel in front of the rear wheel wells. Do I have to take that panel out before installing the flares? or do they fit over that panel? Thanks.

  18. admin says:

All of our ABS fender flares for this Toyota truck are painted with a professional automotive grade paint just like what would be on the truck. I think I know the black plastic piece you mean. Its a black plastic stone guard in the lower forward parts of the rear wheel wells, correct?. This guard does not need to be removed prior to installing these wheel flares. They just fit right over it.

We also have one odd set of fiberglass unpainted black fender flares for 89-95 Pick Up with a gel coat finish. Let me know if you are interested in these and I will give you more information and can offer you a really good deal on them.

  19. Kalama says:

Hi, Im looking for fender flares for a ’84 4runner.. Would you by any chance have any in stock or happen to know any other place I could get some? Im trying to surprise my husband for our 6 yr anniversary by fixing his 4runner & getting it on the road.. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.. Mahalo, Kalama (Hawaii)

  20. admin says:

We do not supply any fender flares that are direct fit for the 84-89 Toyota 4Runner. For the 84-88 Pick Up, some people have used our “89-95 Toyota Pick Up Fender Flares” and modified them to fit. The 4Runner was very much the same but not identical of course so I am not sure what exactly would be involved in making them fit.

  21. James says:

You are currently *out of stock* on 89-95 fender flares. Approximately when will you have them in stock again?

  22. admin says:

Hello, We do currently have this item in stock, but our online store is not set up for selling it directly, as explained above. When you are ready to make a purchase, just contact me and I will email you an invoice. Thanks for your interest in the Toyota Pick Up fender flares!

  25. admin says:

I have sent you an invoice for these mk3 Hilux wheel arch extensions including $40 for shipping to Goldcoast, Australia.

  26. sam pearson says:

    thank u very much

  27. admin says:

Hello, I am sorry but we do not offer any fender flares that are direct fit the the 1988 Nissan D21 truck. It may be possible to use the fender flares made for the 89-95 Toyota Pick Up if you are handy with this sort of thing. You would need to trim the edges of the flares to match of contours of the body of your truck. The edges can be trimmed fairly easily using a utility knife such as an Olfa or Xacto. I have never done so for this application so I am not sure exactly what may be involved but these trucks are certainly similar in size. To identify the differences, the best thing is to park alongside the Toyota truck in a parking lot and compare these areas side by side. Thank you for considering our products. Please let us know how it goes.
